Note to Parents
A successful music program requires substantial support and effort by parents. You will find yourself involved with your child's participation in many more ways than just signing practice sheets. The Herndon orchestras parents organizations were formed to organize parental support for the orchestra program. The orchestra boosters were a success, but it became evident that we needed a better way to get information to parents. This Web site is the result. You--the parents--are the primary reason these Web pages were created. We hope you can find answers to your questions about the orchestra program here. Almost anything that Ms. Gawinski sends home will be posted here within a few days. We also post materials that your child may need at home, such as practice sheets (for the middle school). If you have questions that aren't answered here, please let us know and we'll correct the omission. David |
