Mr. Dillard was the principal violist for the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra, and conductor of the Loudoun Youth Symphony. In his "free" time, Mr. Dillard conducted the Gospel Chorus at his church.
Mr. and Mrs. Dillard reside in Lexington Kentucky, with their teenage son and five dogs (including three "retired" greyhounds). His hobbies include reading, listening to classical and gospel music, and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
The orchestra was saddened when Mr. Dillard announced that his family was moving to Kentucky while Mrs. Dillard pursues a degree in Music Education at his alma mater. Mr. Dillard is now the director of the Lafayette High School Orchesta in Lexington, Kentucky.
